ISP Tracker can be used with either software agents or dedicated hardware agents. Software agents have no hardware purchase cost and can be downloaded and installed on compatible Windows and Linux systems.
Dedicated hardware is optional and is useful when monitoring needs to operate independently of a computer or server. Hardware agents can run continuously in offices, network closets, equipment rooms, utility locations, and other sites where there may be no suitable system available for a software agent.
Each hardware agent is prepared with current ISP Tracker software and firmware and tested before shipping. Hardware is a one-time purchase and can be used with the free monitoring service or with an optional Extended Monitoring upgrade.
Organizations are billed monthly for active agent licenses, with pricing automatically decreasing in tiers as more agents are added.
Each tier applies only to the agents within that tier. For example, the first 10 agents are billed at the first-tier rate. The next 10 are billed at the lower second-tier rate, while the first 10 remain at their original rate. As more agents are added, each additional tier costs less per agent.
This lowers the average cost per agent as an organization grows without changing the price of agents already billed in earlier tiers.
Organization accounts also include additional management capabilities. All agents can be viewed in real time using the Overview Map, and organization managers can add or remove administrators for different locations or areas as needed.

100Mbps interfaces
Internet monitoring does not always require repeatedly saturating a connection with full-speed tests. In many cases, what matters is knowing whether usable bandwidth is available and whether the connection is performing normally.
Our 100Mbps hardware agents are ideal for this type of monitoring. They can provide continuous visibility into connection quality while avoiding the bandwidth and data usage that can come with repeatedly testing a high-speed connection at its maximum capacity.
This makes them a practical, lower-cost choice for remote locations, metered or cellular connections, backup links, and other sites where dependable monitoring matters more than constantly measuring maximum Internet speed.
We also offer an environment monitoring version for locations where temperature and other environmental conditions need to be monitored along with the Internet connection.
